Brantwood Camp provides a fun, positive camping experience for boys and girls–from a variety of backgrounds–who would not otherwise have had the opportunity or been able to afford such an experience.
The Goals of Brantwood Camp are:
– To foster personal and spiritual growth through the values and standards that are expressed by the traditional Five Brantwood Ideals:
Honesty, Loyalty, Cooperation, Good Sportsmanship, and Unselfishness.
– To promote social adjustment and mutual respect among a diverse group through a challenging and competitive program.
– To develop character, confidence, and independence physically, intellectually, and emotionally.
The daily activities at Brantwood are carefully structured around the Mission and Goals, and they provide many opportunities for campers to live, think, and act responsibly, with greater independence, self-reliance, and self-esteem.
Many campers and staff return year after year, eager to see familiar faces, relive Brantwood traditions, and to welcome new challenges.
